The item up for bid is an epic vintage 1994 Pataloha Hawaiian shirt by Patagonia. It features a wild Eugene Savage inspired design in a gorgeous array of colors. Sprinkled throughout the traditional-at-first-glance Hawaiian scenes are modern touches with mountain bikes, rock climbers, windsurfers, kayakers, a woman on skis with ski poles (telemarking?). There are dancers, flowers, waves, waterfalls, mountains, fish, dolphins. Photo 1 shows the front top half, photo 4 is the front bottom half, photo 5 is the back top half, photo 6 is the back bottom half, photo 7 is the front sides of the sleeves, photo 9 shows most of the chest pocket (the chest pocket pattern match is superb), photo 10 shows a button example, they look like coconut shells and the button holes are taut and crisp, they haven't been opened and closed very often. The material is a wonderful 65% cotton / 35% Rayon blend that feels cool and hangs just right. It is marked a size Large and it has it's original cardstock Patagonia hang tag with a 1994 copyright date. It's one of the finest Pataloha shirts I've seen and it'd be a superb addition to any Hawaiian shirt collection – have some fun and bid!
Condition
:
It is in very good vintage condition. It appears seldom if ever worn and has the original hang tag. There are wrinkles from storage. The pictures are the best indicator as to condition, please use the zoom feature and check them out.
Dimensions

It is marked size Large. The following measurements are taken with the shirt laying flat and buttoned:
Chest (measured from the bottom of the armpit to armpit across the front): 25"
Shoulder (measured top of shoulder seam to top of shoulder seam across the front): 20"
Length (measured base of the collar to bottom edge of shirt back down the center of the shirt): 30"
