  • Condition: These Lincoln commemorative cents are MINT STATE (MS) also known as BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED (BU)! Every penny comes straight from the US Philadelphia Mint or Denver Mint. Unlike others who sell coins from bank rolls (or even picked out of circulation!), these cents are guaranteed never to have been touched since the Mint wrapped them in rolls. They are stored in sealed containers with desiccant to remove humidity and corrosion inhibitors that neutralize chemicals in the air that cause tarnish. Please understand that Mint State (MS) & Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) means there has been no wear, rubs, scratches, contact marks, or other damage from circulation outside the mint. Coins straight from the roll will have some contact marks, dings or small scratches from the US Mints handling. However I do take the extra step of removing particularly "baggy" coins.

    These 2009 P & D Lincoln Cent "Formative Years" pennies
    come straight from the US Mint. Unlike others who sell pennies from bank rolls (or even picked out of circulation!), these pennies are guaranteed never to have been touched since the Mint wrapped them in rolls. They are stored in sealed containers with desiccant to remove humidity and corrosion inhibitors that neutralize chemicals in the air that cause tarnish. They are removed by rubber tipped tweezers and placed directly into a free non-PVC clear mylar/carboard flip for protection during shipping or an Air-Tite® Direct Fit holder designed as an exact fit for your U.S. Penny and perfect for archival, long term storage and protection (sold separately, please see My Store.) They are secured carefully in a padded envelope to minimize the ability of potential thieves from identifying the contents and reduces the chances of a package breaking open.
