    Description

    Very unusual Silver Hollow Spoon. This is a beautiful example of Repousee work marked with a B, and additional marks that indicate it was made in Vienna Austria in 185O's and is 13/16ths pure silver. (81% pure) It weighs 38.8 grams and is 8.75 inches long. The date reads 185?. The last number is obscure and the piece is about to break on the joint in the middle. It is something that would be easy to fix as it has a joint there already but the solder has given way. The Repousee work on this is really fabulous and so much detail. What a wonderful piece of hand work!
