    Description

Unsealed, air mail cover originating from Burma, with a 1972 Union Day issue, Scott 181 (15Ps) and 228 (50Ps) stamps, posted by an unreadable hand cancel to Yellow Springs, Ohio, mailed directly to Yellow Springs, Ohio (see scans). This cover may have also been subject to "censorship" as denoted by penned red initials on lower left corner of cover suggesting it originated in the USA Embassy in Rangoon, but only has the notation "BY AIR MAIL - CARD ONLY" where return address would be placed. Unsealed nature of cover suggests it included a Christmas card sent to Mr. & Mrs. Robert T. Crauder, former employee with the Burma Embassy. Cover has stains, a damaged Scott 228 stamp and creased/damaged corners. Check out additional postal history items, covers and post cards listed in my eBay Store. Multiple lots combined, single p&h applied as long as payment if made by single invoice. If purchasing multiple items wait for my invoice before making payments. [07/20/21]
