4 Position Weatherproof Mounting Enclosure for CPE
(Customer Premises Equipment)
interfaces that houses up to four slim type
or four 400-type DS1/DDS or Analog Data-type
units. Slim-type units are 400-type units that have a
front panel that is half the width of the standard
400-type unit. The WME-910-4I2 can be used at remote
Cell or PCS sites and can be mounted on a
pole, a pedestal or on a wall. Security is provided for
both Telco- and Customer-side connections via two
separate and lockable access doors. Access to
these connections is accomplished via a 216-type
Can Wrench. In addition, a lockable hasp is also
provided for installing a padlock (not provided) if desired.
The enclosure is assembled, wired and tested
to accommodate NCTE-type (Network Channel
Termination) units including Network Interface Units
(NIUs), HDSL Remote Units (HRUs), DDS (2W/4W)
and Analog Data Loopback units. The
