Here we have an English Sterling Silver sugar sifter produced in London, England c. 1871-1872. The sifter is marked with all appropriate hallmarks for London c. 1871-1872 and a makers mark for Henry Holland
(of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater) and has
NO
monogram
. Henry Holland was apparently an important maker.
The sifter is in good
condition
with age
appropriate
wear, light surface scratches
and weighs 54 grams or 1.73 ozt
..
Most of the pieces I currently have listed are from a handful of prominent Baltimore and or Maryland estates
