Description
PVDF piezoelectric film vibration sensor SDT1-028K shielded microphone pickupdescription:
The length*width* of the sensor element is high: 28.6X11.2X0.13mm.
Dimensions: 44.5 * 19.7 * 3.2 mm (1.75 * 0.775 * 0.125In)
1. The "S" in the model SDT means "shield". The SDT1 piezoelectric sensor consists of a plastic case
connecting a rectangular piezoelectric film element and an 18-inch long coaxial cable.
The film element is placed on two layers of screen printing paste and then folded to form a self-shielding of the working area. The product can be used in high EMI environments.
2.SDT1-028K can be used with double-sided tape, epoxy glue and cyanoacrylate glue
(super glue to the other side). It must be noted that when removed from the sensor,
the double-sided tape may tear the metal coating. Film on the layer.
3. When SDT1 is posted to the plane in some way, it can be used as a good contact microphone.
The light and non-resonance behavior of the sensor is very important. In the MHz range,
the frequency response is essentially flat, and the RC attenuation only distort its shape at low frequencies.
Since the sensor is strain response, not acceleration, low frequency bending can produce high signal levels.
Therefore, it is necessary to make a difference between the main parameter of the frequency response
generated by the sensor and the related action caused by the frequency response (for example,
the pressure electric acceleration). The response of the sensor becomes a strain gauge,
but it can have a very high output. The sensor performs very well at low frequencies
(large displacement and acceleration) and high frequencies (small displacement and acceleration).
The sensor has a flat response over a wide frequency band and the sensor's resonant frequency is above 10 MHz.

(2) High longitudinal strain coefficient
(3) with coaxial cable
(4) Frequency bandwidth
Applications:
(1) Mechanical monitoring
(2) Acoustic emission monitoring
(3) Contact microphone
(4) Vibration/impact monitoring
(5) Mechanical fixture monitoring
(6) Pickup
(7) Equipment vibration analysis and product design.
Sensor usage:
According to the principle of the inverse piezoelectric effect, when the length of the sensor changes,
it will generate a corresponding charge on both sides of the film, thereby forming a bipolar voltage
of the film. The sensor can be used as an active capacitor, so the signal generated by the input impedance must be considered. Because the film is very thin, the sensor provides a capacitor that meets the standard 1M load at low frequencies, but with the X10 probe, the range of low frequency response can be extended by a factor of ten.
For small equipment and low frequency vibration levels, some buffering measures can be taken,
which are not necessary for most analytical work and can be used directly.
Product performance parameters:
Minimum impedance: 1M
Preferred impedance: 10M
Output voltage (10M): minimum 15V. Its output signal can be directly used by the oscilloscope
(preferably 10M) or receive a signal analyzer.
Storage temperature: 40~70 degrees Celsius to 160 degrees Celsius [40]
Operating temperature: 70 degrees Celsius [32 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit] (depending on the type of adhesive), harsh conditions, high temperature occasions, the product must be handled correctly.
Working pressure range: less than 2% strain
Output: 15~20MV / mu strain
Circuit connection: red signal line, white line / winding ground line
Physical characteristics: Line length is 188.5 inches (457.2 mm), sensor element length * width * height (28.6X11.2X0.13mm).
