The Somalia 50 Shilling banknote was issued in 1991 by the Central Bank of Somalia for the Mogadishu Northern Forces. It has hints of green, blue, and brown. The notes obverse features the emblem of Somalia, a man with a handloom, and a star. The reverse of the note depicts a man with a donkey carrying three children. The 138 x 71 mm paper bill comes with a watermark that reflects Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan. Printed by De La Rue, the banknote carries the signatures of the bank president Omar Ahmed Omar and cashier Hassan Elmi Barkhadle. This Somalia 50 shilling banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
