Description
The Somalia 50 Shilling banknote was released in 1991 by the Central Bank of Somalia for the Mogadishu Northern Forces. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Somalia, a man with a handloom, and a star. The reverse of the note depicts a man with a donkey carrying three children. The 138 x 71 mm paper bill comes with a watermark that reflects Sayyid Mohammed Abdullah Hassan. Printed by De La Rue, the banknote carries the signatures of the bank president Omar Ahmed Omar and cashier Hassan Elmi Barkhadle.Shipping Options
