Vintage Bowling Shirt, Men's, Light Yellow with Brown Collar, Pre-owned. Maker Unknown, No label.
The official size unknown with no indication by label, but I am guessing that it might be Large according to the actual measurement given below.
I used to export young men's apparels to my Japanese clients about 35 years ago and collected many vintage bowling shirts according to the clients' requests, but, I missed the proper timing to ship them in time for the summer season in Japan. So, I kept them in storage. Just recently I am going through it to try to downsize my stuff since I am retired. I found many vintage bowling shirts there. So, I am listing them one by one on ebay. This shirt is one of those.
No label indicates materials, but according to my experience, I believe that it is made of Polyester, but unknown the percentages of mix with other materials. This light yellow shirt has brown collar and brown trimmed sleeves with brown buttons. Nice color combination of yellow and brown.
The actual measurement: From armpit to armpit (chest) is 22". The waist is 21" across. From the tip of collar to the bottom of shirt is 28".
The name "KEVIN" with brown stitches above the left front pocket and the last name "OBRIEN" with brown stitches behind right shoulder on back. Also, "BROWN & ROOT" at the top and "ROAD RUNNERS" at below with brown stitches and in between there is "A Global figure" with brown and yellow stitches at which center there is "B" in the middle of triangle on the back. a lot of yellow stitches are used to fill the oval global shape. Both right and left sides around waist has a same buttons to adjust waist in two positions. It has been dry cleaned, but unfortunately I have to fold it for shipping.
