VINTAGE JANTZEN HAWAIIAN STYLE SHIRT RAYON BLEND TROPICAL PRINT MENS M TAGGED

Description

A vintage Jantzen mens shirt in the Hawaiian style. Tagged Jantzen but no fabric
content is indicated. Believed to be Rayon or a Rayon/Cotton blend. The fabric has a nice draping quality.
Size is tagged M which would be old sizing not the same as today so please refer to the
measurements which are approximate but as close as possible.
Chest at armpits is 43"
Waist is 42"
Across back from sleeve seam to sleeve seam is 16 1/2"
Collar seam to hem at back is 26"
CONDITION: There are a few fairly light spots shown in pictures 6,7,8, these photos are all of the same general area on the front. Please also note the small brown spot on a petal of the brown flower in picture 8, upper right. There is also a tiny,
fairly light
spot pictured near the top button in photo 11.
The button loop at the neckline collar is torn off and missing. The button is still there under the collar on the other side. I trimmed off a few of the threads where the missing loop was after some of the photos were taken, please see the last picture.
There are some gray marks that I think were registration marks for the placement of the
buttons. They are under some of the buttons, example shown in picture 11. They are not very obvious and
hidden when the shirt is buttoned. The buttons appear to be natural shell, possibly dyed yellow, and they have some natural layering but no chips or cracks. I have
resewn
two buttons that were loose so they are now ready to wear.
The shirt has no odors and appears fairly clean. To be hand washed at the buyer's decision.
No other rips, holes, or repairs.
Otherwise good vintage condition with light normal light wear from age.
