Original WWII Canadian made Eye Shield Anti Gas MKII sets. These go inside MKII gas mask carriers and are often missing from gas mask sets. Four (4) pairs of eye shields in individual brown paper bags. All four pairs fit into a brown cardboard envelope open at one end. The 1942 dated cardboard envelope is stamped “Eye Shield Anti Gas MK II C. MFG. CO., 1942" and has the Canadian Military issue symbol of a C with an arrow pointing. The shields are made of clear plastic for the eye pieces. Above the nose section is lined with a strip of felt covered with a green, stiff, water proofed fabric. Attached to this fabric is black elastic to hold the shields in place. Each clear plastic shield has a snap fastener on outer upper edge and a shoe lace ties.
Condition:
The paper bag holder packaging is attached to the shield due to some substance that has attached to the bag from the years. I am unable to take out all the shields without compromising the bags. I will allow the new owner to open the remaining packaging. See pictures. You are buying this item “As Is”.
